As part of our findings, we identified an electrical/overheating problem with one of the variable frequency drives as well as a pump vibration issue on another pump. Our recommendation to make the necessary repairs was completed. Subsequently, during the extremely high water demands that occurred in July 2010, the Aquarion Water Company of Connecticut was able to operate this critical station at full capacity without incident.
