Goodyear, Arizona – Water Reclamation Facilities

In February of 2010, Tata & Howard completed a Facility Plan for the Corgett Water Reclamation Facility (CWRF) for the City of Goodyear.  The focus of the plan was to evaluate the facility for its ability to meet existing and future loading rates.  In addition to evaluating the facility’s ability to meet its National Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems (NPDES) permit, the facility was evaluated on its ability to meet Arizona Reuse Standards.  The existing facility’s effluent was able to consistently meet Class B+ quality effluent allowing for limited applications for water reuse.  The final evaluation and recommendations provided a cost effective phased construction solution while also implementing cutting edge membrane technology to achieve Class A+ reuse quality effluent resulting in a much wider range of reuse applications.
