Mattapoisett River Valley Water District Water Treatment Facility
The Mattapoisett River Valley Water District includes water supply sources operated by the Towns of Fairhaven, Marion and Mattapoisett.
Tata & Howard assisted the Town in formulating the Water District to construct a single comprehensive treatment facility for removal of iron and manganese from several wells in each Town. Tata & Howard conducted a water supply study, water treatment facility siting evaluation, and completed the design and construction administration of the ultrafiltration treatment facility. The facility has a treatment capacity of 6.0 mgd.
