Milford, Massachusetts – I/I
Tata & Howard assisted the Milford Sewer Department with ongoing I/I investigations within their aging collection system in accordance with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection Guidelines for Performing Infiltration/Inflow Analyses and Sewer System Evaluation Surveys (Revised January 1993).
Investigations have included continuous flow monitoring, manhole inspections, smoke testing, closed circuit television (CCTV) inspections, and dye flooding. Upon completion of these investigations, Tata & Howard has provided recommendations of repairs and rehabilitation to the collection system to further improve the transmission of wastewater to the WWTF and minimize the amount of extraneous water entering the collection system.
