Employee Spotlight #8 – Jennifer Werner
We are excited to shine this week’s Employee Spotlight on Jennifer Werner. Jennifer joined Tata & Howard in January of 2020 as a Project Manager. After growing up in Leesport, Pennsylvania, a small town 90-miles northwest of Philadelphia, she graduated from Penn State University at the top of her class where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering. A passion for math, science, and the environment, paired with inspiration from her uncle who was a Chemical Engineer, inspired Jennifer to opt for a career in the engineering space.
Her favorite types of projects to work on are those related to design and rehabilitation. In her time at T&H, she has most enjoyed working on the Lincoln Water Department’s membrane replacement, coagulant pilot study, and residuals handling evaluation. Jennifer enjoys learning how plants operate both mechanically and chemically, and is fascinated by studying the operations of the plants in detail.
When she isn’t in the office, Jennifer spends her time rockhounding, seed beading, needle felting, miniature doll house making, scrapbooking, and collecting seashells and beach pebbles from around the world. In addition, she loves spending time with her five pets Nelson (Coton de Tulear), Pig-Pig (guinea pig), Teddy Bear Werner (male chinchilla), Itsy Bitsy, and Sable (female chinchillas).
Jennifer also enjoys traveling and has fond memories of a trip to Italy with her sister. On their trip, they spent 10 days traveling around the country, taking random trains to random places.
Thanks for all you do, Jennifer!
