“TIF District Funding Success Story”

This presentation will outline the Hooksett Village Water Precinct’s (HVWP) innovative funding strategy to replace an aging water storage tank and water mains to improve trans-mission, while benefiting the Town of Hooksett’s Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District to promote development, expand the local tax base, and remain fiscally responsible to the HVWP customers. The presentation will also discuss the available funding sources that al-lowed HVWP to complete additional needed water main improvements ahead of schedule.

“Level III Emergency: Cross Country Transmission Main Leak Located in a Wetland”

This presentation will share the response and repair actions that the staff of the Cherry Valley and Rochdale Water District implemented utilizing their Emergency Response Plan (ERP) training, local and neighboring responders, local emergency manager, private con-tractors, consultant engineer, MassDEP, and bulk wa-ter tanker haulers to maintain system pressure and supply for 72 hours to allow for the location, repair, and reactivation of the transmission main.
